The new Millionaire for Life lottery game held its first drawing on Sunday, Feb. 22, ending without a winner across more than two dozen states.

The winning numbers for the first-ever drawing were 1-30-48-54-58 with a Millionaire Ball of 4.

The new game was announced Jan. 15 by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), which also runs Powerball, Lotto America and other national lottery games.

“Millionaire for Life offers premiere ‘for life’ prizing that players, especially younger players, have gravitated toward,” Tom Seaver, Millionaire for Life product group chair and senior director of the Colorado Lottery, said in a statement.

Here is what you need to know about the new lottery game.

How is the Millionaire for Life game played?

According to the Montana and Wyoming lotteries, Millionaire for Life is played using two sets of numbers, similar to Powerball and Mega Millions.Players select five numbers from 1 to 58 in the first pool and one number from 1 to 5 in the second pool, known as the Millionaire Ball. During each drawing, five numbers are drawn from the first pool, and one Millionaire Ball number is drawn for the second.

Matching all five numbers plus the Millionaire Ball wins the top prize of $1 million a year for life. Matching just the five main numbers awards $100,000 a year for life.

When is the Millionaire for Life game drawing?

According to the MUSL, Millionaire for Life tickets cost $5, and drawings are held every day at 11:15 p.m. ET.

Where will the new lottery game be played?

Officials said that tickets for the new game will be available in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming.
