Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has shown no remorse during his first 48 hours at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate, according to one royal author. And King Charles is undoubtedly "not finished" with his brother, Robert Hardman, writing in the Daily Mail, warned the former Duke of York. Mr Hardman reported that family members expecting contrition from Andrew have been "sorely disappointed", as he has "done nothing but complain since he got there".

The author noted Andrew "hardly seemed bothered about the Epstein scandal" but was "much more worried about where he was supposed to keep his horses" and even grumbled about where to park his car. Despite the King footing all his bills, Andrew has been "very rude" and shown no gratitude, with Mr Hardman observing he is "in another world". Mr Hardman concluded: "Even if the current police investigation comes to nothing, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s bovine lack of remorse for the damage he has inflicted on both the institution and the family has ensured one thing: The King has not yet finished with his brother."

5 things you need to know about Andrew's 'removal from line of succession'

Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's world is crumbling in the aftermath of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, with the Government now considering historic legislation to remove him from the line of succession to the British throne. This ultimate blow comes just days after his humiliating arrest at Wood Farm last Thursday, leaving the monarchy’s reputation in tatters.

Removing Andrew isn't a simple task; it would require a complex Act of Parliament to be approved by MPs and peers. This dramatic legal manoeuvre would also require the vital consent of the Commonwealth realms, including Canada and Australia, to ensure that his name is permanently scrubbed from the order of birthright.

Political pressure is mounting as York Central MP Rachael Maskell demands Andrew be stripped from the line of succession immediately. She insists transparency is needed regarding his past roles, arguing that the public has seen him be "conservative with the truth" far too many times for him to remain in such a prestigious position.

If the Government’s plan to axe the former Duke succeeds, the line of succession would shift, moving Princess Beatrice into the eighth spot. This potential removal follows years of public furore over his links to Epstein, marking the most significant threat to the monarchy’s integrity since the 1936 abdication crisis.

King Charles broke his silence with a bombshell statement, making it clear that the "law must take its course". While Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, the monarch’s refusal to protect his brother further signals a "full, fair and proper" investigation that could ultimately seal the former prince’s fate for good.

Fire engines spotted arriving at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's home

Two fire engines have been seen arriving at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's home, Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate, this afternoon. At 12.25pm one drove up the lane with its blue lights and siren blasting, with another response vehicle behind it. A second fire engine arrived shortly afterwards.

One witness said: "There were no police or security around. The fire engine just suddenly arrives. They all went in and came out perhaps five or six minutes later. No-one had idea of what was going on.” It appears to have been a false alarm as the vehicles left shortly after arriving at the property.

Andrew has been holed up at his temporary home in Norfolk since he was released from police custody on Thursday evening.

Major blow to Andrew as Australia backs calls to remove him from line of succession

The Australian Government has said it would support legislation to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the line of succession. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has written to Sir Keir Starmer saying his government would agree to “any proposal” to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor - who is currently eighth in line to the throne - as one of the King's successors.

The Government has said it is considering introducing legislation to remove the disgraced former prince from the line of succession, following his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office last week. Any action by the government would only happen once the ongoing police investigation into the former Duke of York has concluded.

But it's a long and complex legislative process as it requires consent not just from Westminster but also from all 14 Commonwealth realms. In Australia, some local governments also have to approve the change.

As reported by The News, a palace insider has said: "Andrew is feeling a lot of kinship towards Harry. In his view, they are both 'spares' that have been terribly mistreated. Prince William and Kate’s secret gift for Princess Lilibet amid ongoing feud

Prince William and Princess Catherine sent a sweet gift to their niece Princess Lilibet following her birth in 2021, a new royal book has revealed. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their daughter a year after stepping down as working royals and moving to begin a new life in California.

Andrew latest as new bombshell claims made about 'lavish spending'

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor burdened UK taxpayers with extravagant expenses—including claims for massages—during his tenure as the country's trade envoy from 2001 to 2011, it has been claimed. Whistleblowers, including retired civil servants from the former UK Trade and Investment department, claim he charged for personal indulgences and excessive travel costs, sparking renewed scrutiny amid his recent arrest.

One ex-civil servant recounted refusing to approve a reimbursement for "massage services" following Andrew's Middle East visit in the early 2000s, deeming it inappropriate. A whistleblower revealed: "I thought it was wrong… I'd said we mustn't pay it, but we ended up paying it anyway." Despite his objections, senior staff overruled him and allowed the claim to proceed. The role, while unpaid, provided Andrew with support from the Civil Service and public funding for international trips aimed at promoting British business.

Andrew’s adviser makes grim joke about having sex on Epstein’s island

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s previous advisor made a joke to the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein about having sex on his island, newly-seen emails have shown. Businessman David Stern, who was once the former Prince Andrew’s closest business adviser around the time when Andrew was a British trade envoy, seemed to have a close friendship with Epstein.

It is believed that Stern would ask Epstein about certain business deals and for help. However, it seems that the friendship between the pair extended further than this according to emails in the Epstein files.

This is because in emails released by the US department of Justice, Stern wrote in 2010 that if he wanted “action” he would go to Little Saint James.

Prince William reveals he is 'not in a calm state' in shock admission at the BAFTAs

Prince William has said he has not yet watched BAFTA Best Picture nominee Hamnet because he “needed to be in a calm mood”. Speaking at the glitzy award ceremony shortly after arriving with his wife, the Prince of Wales spoke about what films he and his wife have been tuning into.

He said his wife Catherine watched the hugely emotional film on Saturday night and was left in “floods of tears”. But when asked if he had seen it, he explained: “I need to be in quite a calm state and I am not at the moment. I will save it.”

Hamnet tells the story of the tragic death in childhood of Shakespeare’s son Hamnet and the grief of his parents. “I thought it was a bad idea, actually,” Kate joked of watching the film before the ceremony. “Ended up with very puffy eyes. It was so beautifully shot. The music as well. The score is fantastic.”

Their attendance at the BAFTAs marks their first public appearance since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's shock arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office on Thursday morning.

Prince William and Kate face ‘rebuilding Royal Family integrity’, says PR expert

Prince William and Princess Catherine are set to face "rebuilding the Royal Family's integrity", claims one PR expert. As the King's eldest son, William is next in line to the throne, with Catherine ready to stand next to him one day as Queen.

The Royal Family are currently facing a crisis with the Firm trying to distance itself from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, especially in the wake of his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office on Thursday. Speaking of Catherine and William, public relations and crisis consultant Mark Borkowski has said the royal couple will be faced with the question of "how do they establish the integrity of the Royal Family?".

As reported by the Independent, he said: "Really, what do William and Kate do? What do their generation do with the crown, with all its soft power, its affairs of state, it’s beginning to feel a little bit like a European monarchy."
