The background probably isn’t too necessary here, but NC State picked up a huge commitment on Monday from 4-star QB Gunner Rivers, the son of Philip Rivers.
Welcome the Wolfpack, Gunner!
The younger Rivers is a 6’4, 205 lbs QB, ranked the #125 player overall in the class of 2027 and the #10 QB. As you see in the above video, there are a lot of similarities to his father, although he is a bit more mobile than his dad. The overall talent is evident.

Rivers is the 4th commitment in State’s 2027 class and is currently the highest ranked player among the group.
