Princess Charlotte joins Princess Kate for royal duet in carol special
The special aired on Christmas Eve.

Princess Charlotte and Catherine, Princess of Wales, sat side-by-side at the piano in a touching Christmas duet to ring in the holiday.
Princess Kate and her daughter performed "Holm Sound" by Erland Cooper on the piano during "Royal Carols: Together at Christmas" a Christmas Eve program which aired Wednesday night in the U.K.
A clip of the duet, posted to The Prince and Princess of Wales' social media account, opens on the royals in a serene-Christmas decorated hall as they play the piano together.
"At its heart, Christmas speaks of love taking form in the simplest, most human ways. Not in sentimental or grand gestures, but gentle ones," the Princess of Wales says in a voice-over of the musical scene.
"A moment of listening, a word of comfort, a friendly conversation, a helping hand, presents. These simple acts of care might seem small, but they contribute to the beautiful tapestry of life to which we all belong," she continued.
The Princess of Wales' speech continued as the clip showed a Christmas tree being adorned with a decoration.

The Princess of Wales continued later, "At a time when life can sometimes feel fragmented or uncertain, the Christmas season invites us to remember the power of reaching out to one another with generosity of heart, understanding and hope."
She said the carol service represented a sense of "collective togetherness."
The Princess of Wales finished the piece saying, "As the year draws to a close, I hope this season brings you moments of peace and clarity and that you too feel surrounded by the same love and care that you offer so freely. Thank you for the warmth you have given, and the kindness you have shown and the quiet, constant light you bring to others. Wishing you a very happy Christmas."
The annual holiday service, hosted by Princess Kate, was recorded earlier in the month before airing tonight.
